  • The Sanjay National Park extends into the districts of Sidhi and Singrauli.
  • Sanjay National Park:
    • Located in Dry deciduous forest region.
    • Sanjay-Dubri Tiger Reserve, a part of which is now in Chhattisgarh which was renamed Guru Ghasidas National Park.
    • Eastern and western boundaries are formed by the Gopad and Banas rivers respectively (tributaries of Son river).
    • Mostly composed of Sal (Shorea Robusta) trees.
    • According to an official census of Madhya Pradesh carried out in 2004, Sanjay National Park had six tigers.
    • Eventually, however, no tiger was sighted there, between October 2008 and May 2009. 
  • Bagdara Wildlife Sanctuary

  • Kanha Kisli National Park
    • It is also known as the Kanha Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
    • It is the largest National park in Madhya Pradesh which is extended for about 950 sq. km in the two districts such as Balaghat and Mandla of Madhya Pradesh.
    • This park is famous for its Royal Bengal Tiger.
