Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 75000

Given:

A's income = B's income - 20000

Expenses = 4/5th of income

(A + B)'s savings = Rs. 26000

Calculation:

Let B's income be Rs. x

∴ A's income = x - 20000

A.T.Q

1/5 of x + 1/5 of (x - 20000) = 26000

⇒ x + x - 20000 = 130000

⇒ x = Rs. 75000

∴ The answer is Rs. 75000
