Correct Answer - Option 1 : 15 : 8

Given

Rohan starts a business = Rs. 75,000

Suraj starts a business = Rs. 60,000

Formula Used

Investment = capital × time

Profit ratio is equal to investment ratio

Calculation

Rohan investment for 12 months = 75000 × 12 = 900000

Surja investment for (12 - 4) months = 60000 × 8 = 480000

⇒ Investment Ratio (Rohan : Suraj) = 900000 : 480000 = 15 : 8

⇒ Profit Ratio = 15 : 8

∴ Their profit ratio at the end of the year is 15 : 8
