Correct Answer - Option 4 : 512000

Given:

The diameter of small lead ball = 2mm

The radius of big lead ball = 8 cm

Formula used:

The volume of sphere = (4πr3)/3

Required number of the balls = Volume of big lead ball/ Volume of small lead ball

Calculation:

The radius of a small lead ball = 1mm

We know, 1cm = 10 mm

⇒ Radius of small lead ball = 0.1 cm

The volume of small lead ball = (4π ×  0.13)/3

The volume of big lead ball = (4π ×  83)/3

Required number of the balls = (4π ×  83)/3/(4π ×  0.13)/3

⇒ 83/0.13 = 512000

∴ The number of small lead ball made from the big lead ball is 512000.
