Correct Answer - Option 3 : 1,296

Given:

The quotient is 16/5 times the divisor,

Remainder is 4/5 times the divisor,

Remainder is 16

Formula Used:

Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

Calculation:

Remainder is 4/5 times the divisor,

⇒ 16 = 4/5 × Divisor

⇒ Divisor = 16 × (5/4)

⇒ Divisor = 20

The quotient is 16/5 times the divisor,

⇒ Quotient = 16/5 × 20

⇒ Quotient = 64

⇒ Quotient = 64

Dividend = 20 × 64 + 16

⇒ Dividend = 1,296

∴ The dividend is 1,296.
