Correct Answer - Option 2 : 1 : 2

Given:

Speed of train is 45 km/hr and takes 20 hours to complete certain distance

Concept used:

Distance = Speed × Time

Calculation:

Distance covered by train in 20 hours = 45 × 20

⇒ 900

Required speed to cover 900 km in 10 hours

⇒ 900/10

⇒ 90 km/hr

Ratio between intial and final speed

⇒ 45 : 90.

⇒ 1 : 2

The ratio of speed of train of intial and final speed 1 : 2.
