Correct Answer - Option 4 : 16 : 21

Given:

A's investment = Rs. 80000

B's investment = Rs. 70000

A joined after 8 months

Formula used:

Profit = Investment × time

Calculation:

B's profit = 70000 × 24

A's profit = 80000 × 16

Now, A : B = 80000 × 16 : 70000 × 24

⇒ 128 : 168

⇒ 16 : 21

∴ The answer is 16 : 21
