Correct Answer - Option 2 : 66,000

Given:

Illiterate population = 30%

Literate villagers = 46,200

Formula Used:

Total population = (Literate villagers × 100)/(% Literate villagers)

Calculation:

Let assume that the total population be =100

⇒ Illiterate population = 100% - 30% = 70%

Total population = (Literate villagers × 100)/(% Literate villagers)

⇒ Total population = (46200 × 100)/70

⇒ Total population = 66,000

∴ Total population is 66,000

The correct option is 2 i.e. 66,000
