Correct Answer - Option 5 : None of these

Given

Parth invested in equity fund = 3/4th of total amount

Formula Used

Percentage = (actual/total) × 100

Calculation

Let total amount he had be 100x

He invested in equity fund = 3/4 × 100x = 75x

He invested in business = 10% of 100x = 10x

He gives debt = 5% of 100x = 5x

Remaining amount = Rs. 2000

⇒ 100x - (75x + 10x + 5x) = 2000

⇒ x = 200

⇒ 100x = 20000

∴ Parth had Rs. 20,000
