Correct Answer - Option 4 : Rs. 5500

Given:

Discount = 4%

C.P of the dress = Rs. 4800

Profit = 10 %

Calculation:

C.P of the dress = Rs. 4800

∴ Profit = 4800 × 10%

⇒ 4800 × (10/100)

⇒ Rs. 480

∴ Selling Price = 4800 + 480

⇒ Rs. 5280

Discount% = 4%

∴ Let M.P of the dress be x.

⇒ x × 96% = 5280

⇒ x = 5280 × (100/96)

⇒ x = 55 × 100

⇒ x = Rs. 5500.

∴ The marked price of the dress is Rs. 5500.
