Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 6,62,400

Given:

Manisha’s monthly income = 3 times of Devika’s

Devika’s monthly income = 15% more of Sunita’s

Sunita’s monthly income = Rs. 16,000

Calculation:

Sunita’s monthly income = Rs. 16,000

Devika’s monthly income = 16000 × (1 + 15/100)

⇒ 16000 × (115/100)

⇒ 18,400

Manisha’s monthly income = 3 × 18400

⇒ 55,200

Manisha’s annual income = 12 × 55200

⇒ 6,62,400

∴ Manisha’s annual income is Rs. 6,62,400.

In the question, we are asked about Manisha's monthly income.

The candidate might mark her monthly income, which becomes Rs. 55,200, which will give a wrong answer.
