Correct Answer - Option 2 : 24

Given:

Number are formed by using 6, 1, 2, 3

Calculation:

Number of ways to fill the first position = 4

Number of ways to fill second position = 3

Number of ways to fill third position = 2

Total number of ways = 4 × 3 × 2

⇒ Total number of ways = 24

∴ The total number of 3 digit number is 24.

If the repetition of number was allowed then we can take each digit in 4 different ways and so, the answer will be 4 × 4 × 4 = 64
