  • Krishnadevaraya (1509 AD-1529 AD):
    • He was the greatest ruler of the Tuluva dynasty.
    • He served many travellers such as Domingo Paes, Barbosa, and Friar Luis, the ambassador of Portuguese Governor, Albuquerque.
    • His period was known as the golden age of Telugu literature.
    • He wrote Amuktamalyada in Telugu.
      • Amuktamalyada means the One who offered the garland after wearing it themselves.
      • The book describes the story of the wedding of the Hindu Lord Ranganayaka as an avatar of Vishnu and Goda Devi (Andal) the Tamil Alvar poet and daughter of Periyalvar, at Srirangam.
