Correct Answer - Option 2 : 3200 Gallons

Given

Tank A capacity = 14000 gallons

Formula Used

Percentage = (actual/Total) × 100

Calculation

Capacity of tank B = (14000/70) × 100 = 20000 gallons

80% of tank A = 80% of 14000 = 11200 gallons

40% of tank B = 40% of 20000 = 8000 gallons

Difference in tank A and tank B = 11200 - 8000 = 3200 gallons

∴ 3200 gallons are solution are in tank A more than tank B
