Correct Answer - Option 4 : 36 cm

Given:

Area of parallelogram = 648 cm2

The base of parallelogram = 2 × height of the parallelogram

Formula used:

Area of parallelogram = b × h

Where,

b = Base of the parallelogram

h = Height of the parallelogram

Calculation:

b = 2h     ...1)

Area of parallelogram = b × h

⇒ 648 = 2h × h

⇒ 324 = h2

⇒ h = 18 cm

From equation (1)

⇒ b = 2h

⇒ b = 36 cm

∴ The base of the parallelogram is 36 cm.
