Correct Answer - Option 2 : -57 ∶ 11

Given:

a ∶ b ∶∶ 3 ∶ 7

Calculation:

According to the question

a ∶ b ∶∶ 3 ∶ 7

⇒ a/b = 3/7

Now, (5a + 6b) = (5 × 3 + 6 × 7) = 57

(a - 2b) = (3 - 2 × 7) = -11

(5a + 6b) ∶ (a - 2b) = 57 ∶ (-11)

⇒ -57 ∶ 11

∴ The value of (5a + 6b) ∶ (a - 2b) is -57 ∶ 11.
