Correct Answer - Option 2 : 11: 28 a.m.

Given

Distance is = 150 kms

Train P point 9 AM speed at = 40 km per hr

Train Q another points 10 AM speed at = 35 km per hr

Let they meet x hrs after 9 am.

Distance covered by A in x hours = 40x kms

Distance covered by B in (x - 1) hr. = 35 (x - 1) km

Calculation

 40x + 35 (x-1) = 150

 40x + 35x - 35 = 150

75x = 150 + 35 = 185

x = 185/75

⇒x = 37/15

⇒ x = 2 hour 7/15 minutes {Hence (7/15) × 60 = 28 minuts}

Trains meet at 11: 28 AM
