Correct Answer - Option 1 : If statement I is the cause and statement II is its effect.

As the Metro city observed the lowest temperature of the last decade accompanied by heavy fog during the week due to which most of the flights from the city were indefinitely delayed causing panic among the passengers.

So, statement I is the cause and statement II is its effect

Hence, option 1 is the correct answer.
