Correct Answer - Option 2 : x2 – 4x – 5 = 0

Given:

Sum of zeroes of a quadratic equation = 4

Product of zeroes = (-5)

Concept:

Quadratic equation, P(x) = x2 – (sum of zeroes) x + (product of zeroes) = 0

Calculation:

Quadratic equation, x2 – (4) x + (- 5) = 0

∴ x2 – 4x – 5 = 0
