  • In Lok Sabhatwo members are nominated by a President who belongs to the Anglo-Indian community ( those people whose either mother or father or ancestors are from British).
  • According to the 104th Constitutional Amendment Act, 2019 In January 2020 the Anglo-Indian reserved seats in the Parliament and State Legislatures of Indian were abolished.
  • The minimum age required to become a member of the Lok Sabha is 25 years.
  • The first speaker of the Lok Sabha is Ganesh Vasudeo Mavalankar (1952-1956) and the first female speaker was Meira Kumar (2009-2014).
  • Article 110 deals with the money bill.
