Given

The length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth. If the perimeter of the field is 228 meters

Formula used

Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

Calculation

Let  breadth of field = x meter

⇒ Length be 2x meter

⇒ 2(2x + x) = 228

⇒ 6x = 228

⇒ x = 38

∴ length is 38 × 2 = 76 meter and breadth is 38 meter
