Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 456

Given:

Ratio of share of A, B and C = 3 ∶ 7 ∶ 5

Total profit = Rs. 6840

Calculation:

Let the share of A, B and C = 3a, 7a and 5a

The sum of money = Rs. 6840

3a + 7a + 5a = Rs. 6840

⇒ 15a = Rs. 6840

⇒ a = 6840/15

⇒ a = Rs. 456

Money A and C earned more than B = (3a + 5a) - 7a

⇒ 8a - 7a

⇒ a = Rs. 456
