Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 3 : 15

Concept:

nCx nCy, then x = y or x + y = n

Calculation:

Given

C(30, n - 3) = C(30, n + 3)

30Cn - 3 = 30Cn + 3

n - 3 + n + 3 = 30

2n = 30

n = 15

Combination Formula

Let n and r are integer such that 0 ≤ r ≤ n, then

nCr = \(\rm \frac{n!}{r! (n -r)!}\)

nPr = nCr r!

nCn - r = nCr

nCr + nCr - 1 = n + 1Cr

n - 1Cr - 1 = (n - r + 1) nCr - 1
