Correct Answer - Option 2 : 1152

Given:

Radius of sphere = 12cm

Radius of cylinder = 1cm

Height of cylinder = 2cm

Formula:

Volume of sphere = 4/3 × πr3

Volume of cylinder = πr2h

Calculation:

Let number of small cylinders be N.

Volume of large sphere = N × Volume of small cylinder

⇒ 4/3 × π × 12 × 12 × 12 = N × π × 1 × 2

⇒ N = 1152

∴ 1152 small cylinders can be made from sphere.
