Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs. 3

**Given : **

The cost price of 2 bananas and 1 guava = 7 Rs.

The cost price of 3 bananas and 2 guava = 12 rs.

**Calculation :**

Let the price of one banana be x and that of one guava be y

2x + y = 7 ----(1)

According to the question,

3x + 2y = 12 ----(2)

Multipling equation (1) by 3 and (2) by 2, after subtracting them we get,

(6x + 3y) - (6x + 4y) = 21 - 24

⇒ - y = - 3

⇒ y = 3

**∴ The cost price of 1 guava is Rs. 3**.
