  • Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana:
    • The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), was launched by the Govt. of India to provide connectivity to unconnected Habitations as part of a poverty reduction strategy.
    • Govt. of India is endeavoring to set high & uniform technical & management standards & facilitating policy development and planning at the State level in order to ensure sustainable management of the rural roads network.​

  • National Rural Livelihood Mission:
    • National Rural Livelihood Mission is a poverty alleviation project implemented by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
    • This scheme is focused on promoting self-employment and the organization of the rural poor.
