Correct Answer - Option 1 : \(\frac{1}{3}\)

Given:

The dice is thrown one time

Concept Used:

Probability = Number of possible cases/Total number of cases

Calculation:

In a single throw of dice, total results are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 = 6 results

Among these numbers greater than 4 are 5 and 6 = 2 possible results

Required probability to get a number greater than 4 is 2/6 = 1/3

∴ In a single throw of a die, the probability of getting a number greater than 4 is 1/3.
