Correct Answer - Option 2 : 50 m

Given:

Length of rectangle = 100 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 300 m

Formula used:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B)

Where, L = Length of rectangle

B = Breadth of rectangle

Calculation:

By the using formula, we get

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B)

⇒ 300 = 2(100 + B)

⇒ 100 + B = 150

⇒ B = 150 - 100 = 50

∴ The width of the rectangle is 50 m
