Correct Answer - Option 3 : 14

Given

Factor of y2 - my + 40 is 4

Calculation

y2 - my + 40 = 0

⇒ (4)2 - m(4) + 40 = 0

⇒16 - 4m + 40 = 0

⇒- 4m + 56 = 0

⇒ - 4m = - 56

⇒ m = 14

∴ Value of m is 14.
