Correct Answer - Option 2 : A - Rs. 80, B - Rs. 120, C - Rs. 480

Given:

Total amount = 680 Rs.

A gets = 2/3 of B

B gets =1/4 of C

Calculation:

A = 2/3 B

⇒ A/B = 2/3

A : B = 2 : 3

B = 1/4 C

⇒ B/C = 1/4

B : C = 1 : 4 = 3 : 12

So, A : B : C = 2 : 3 : 12

A gets  = 2/(2 + 3 + 12) × 680 Rs.

⇒ 2 × 680/17 Rs. = 80 Rs.

B gets = 3 × 680/17 Rs. = 120 Rs.

C gets =12 × 680/17 Rs. = 480 Rs.

∴ A gets 80 Rs. B gets 120 Rs. C gets 480 Rs.
