Correct Answer - Option 3 : Eye

The correct answer is Eye.

  • Myopia is an eye disorder.
  • It is commonly known as Nearsightedness.
  • In this disorder near objects are seen clearly by the eye but farther objects seen blurry. Hence it is opposite to its name, as in nearsightedness the farsightedness of an eye is weak.
  • It occurs when the shape of your eye causes light rays to bend (refract) incorrectly, focusing images in front of your retina instead of on your retina.

  • The opposite disorder of myopia is hyperopia.
  • Hyperopia is also known as Farsightedness.
  • In this disorder near objects seems blurry while far objects seem clear by an eye. Hence it is opposite in nature to its name as farsightedness.
  • Farsightedness occurs when your eyeball is shorter than normal or your cornea is curved too little. The effect is the opposite of nearsightedness.
