Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : 20%

Calculation:

The solution contains 50% alcohol ⇒ 500 ml alcohol

Maximum alcohol content for the resulting mixture will be obtiained when mixed with 1-Litre alcohol.

⇒ 1.5 lItre alcohol in 2 litre solution

⇒ 75% alcohol content

Minimum alcohol content = When mixed with 1-Litre water

⇒ 0.5 litre alcohol in 2 litre solution.

⇒ 25% alcohol content.

Minimum possible alcohol content will be 25% and maximum is 75%.
