Correct Answer - Option 3 : 20

Given:

The sum of two numbers is 9.

The sum of their squares is 41.

Calculation:

Let the two number be x, y.

Then, x + y = 9,

Squaring both sides, we get

⇒ x2 + y2 + 2xy = 81

Also given that, x+ y= 41

⇒ 2xy = 40

⇒ xy = 20

∴ Their number product are 20.
