Correct Answer - Option 4 : 44616

Given:

The curved surface area of a right circular cylinder is 3432 cm2

The radius of its base is 26 cm

The value of π is 22/7

Formula Used:

Surface Area of a Right cylinder = 2πrh

Volume of a Right cylinder = πr2h

Where, r = radius of cylinder and h = height of cylinder

Calculation:

Surface Area of a Right cylinder = 2πrh

⇒ 3432 = 2 × 22/7 × 26 × h

⇒ h = 7 × 3

⇒ 21

We know that, Volume of a Right cylinder = πr2h

⇒ Volume of a Right cylinder = 22/7 × 26 × 26 × 21

⇒ 22 × 676 × 3

⇒ 44616

∴ The volume of a right circular cylinder is 44616 cm2.
