Correct Answer - Option 1 : 21, 42, 28

Given:

The present ages of three persons in proportions 3: 6: 4 Nine years ago, the sum of their ages was 64

Calculation

Let their present ages = 3x, 6x, and 4x years

Then,

(3x - 9) + (6x - 9) + (4x - 9) = 64

13 x = 64 + 27

13x = 91

X = 7

Hence, their ages = 21, 42, and 28.
