Correct Answer - Option 2 : 4 : 5

Given:

X : Y : Z = 13 : 17 : 22

Calculation:

Let the number X, Y and Z be 13a, 17a and 22a respectively

⇒from the question, 13a + 17a + 22a = 364

⇒ 52a = 364

⇒ a = 364/52

⇒ a = 7

⇒ required ratio = (17 × 7 – 13 × 7) / (22 × 7 – 17 × 7)

⇒ required ratio = 28/35

⇒ required ratio = 4 : 5

∴ required ratio = 4 : 5
