Correct Answer - Option 3 : 92750 cm2

Given:

Length of cuboidal box = 2.5 m

Breadth of cuboidal box = 75 cm

Height of cuboidal box = 85 cm

Formula Used:

The total surface area of cuboid = 2 (Length × Breadth + Breadth × Height + Height × Length)

Calculation:

1 m = 100 cm

⇒ Length of cuboidal box = 2.5 m = 2.5 × 100 = 250 cm

Breadth of cuboidal box = 75 cm

Height of cuboidal box = 85 cm

The total surface area of cuboid = 2 (Length × Breadth + Breadth × Height + Height × Length)

⇒ The total surface area of cuboid = 2 (250 × 75 + 75 × 85 + 85 × 250)

⇒ The total surface area of cuboid = 2 (18750 + 6375 + 21250)

⇒ The total surface area of cuboid = 2 × 46375

⇒ The total surface area of cuboid = 92750 cm2

∴ The total surface area of cuboid is 92750 cm2

The correct option is 3 i.e. 92750 cm2
