Correct Answer - Option 1 : 24 kmph

Given:

Scooter speed from A to B = 30 kmph

Scooter speed from B to A = 20 kmph

Formula used:

Average speed = (2xy)/(x+y)

x & y are the speed of the scooter

Calculation:

Average speed = (2xy)/(x+y)

Substituting the values in the formula

⇒ Avg speed = (2 × 30 × 20)/(30 + 20)

⇒ Avg speed = 1200/50 = 24 kmph

∴ The average speed is 24 kmph
