Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 4840

Given:

Mithu and Billal have = Rs. 12100

4/15 of Mithu’s amount = 2/5 of Billal’s amount

Calculation:

Let Mithu’s amount be M and Billal’s amount be B.

∴ 4/15 M = 2/5 B

⇒ M = (2/5 × 15/4) B

⇒ M = 3/2 B

⇒ M/B = 3/2

∴ M ∶ B = 3 ∶ 2

∴ Billal’s share = 12100 × 2/5

⇒ 2420 × 2

⇒ Rs. 4840

Billal has Rs. 4840.
