Correct Answer - Option 3 : 8 : 24 am

Given:

Sumit travels at speed for 1st 3 hours is 48 km/hr

Rahul moving is 51 km/hr

Formula Used:

Distance = Speed × Time

Calculation:

Distance travel by sumit till 6 pm = 3 × 48 + 2 × 36 = 216 km

Distance = Relative speed × time

⇒ 216 = (51 - 36) × Time

⇒ Time = 216/15 = 72/5 = 14 hr 24 minutes

So Rahul catch Sumit in 14hr 24 minutes after 6 PM

Then, Actual time = 8 : 24 am

∴ Rahul catch Sumit at 8 : 24 am.
