Khardungla pass

  • Khardungla pass is known as the Gateway to the Nubra and Shyok valleys.
  • It is the world's highest motorable road.
  • The Khardung La Pass, a major tourist place in Ladakh, is maintained by the Border Roads Organisation and all kinds of vehicles, from two-wheelers to heavy trucks, ply this road.

Banihal pass

  • Banihal pass is a popular pass in Jammu and Kashmir.
