Correct Answer - Option 2 : Quantity A < Quantity B

GIVEN:

Invalid votes = 35%

Winner got = 60% of valid votes

winning margin = 45500

EXPLANATION:

Let total votes polled be 100r

valid votes = 65% of 100 = 65r

Margin = 60 - 40 = 20% of valid votes

20% of 65r = 13r

A.T.Q

13r = 45500

∴ 100r = 45500/13 × 100 = 350000

Total votes were 350000

∴ Quantity A < Quantity B
