Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : Quantity A < Quantity B

GIVEN:
S.P 1 = Rs. 19972

S.P 2 = Rs. 17228

Desired S.P = Rs 20088

FORMULA USED:

Profit% = Profit/C.P × 100

CALCULATION:

Let the C.P be RS. x

A.T.Q

19972 - x = x - 17228

⇒ 2x = 37200

⇒ x = Rs 18600

Profit = 20088 - 18600 = Rs 1488

Profit% = 1488/18600 × 100 = 8%

∴ Quantity A < Quantity B
