Correct Answer - Option 1 : Quantity A > Quantity B

Given:
Profit = 25%

Discount = 20%

Profit = Rs 1800

Calculation:

From Quantity A,

Let the M.P is Rs 100

∴ S.P = 80% of 100 = Rs 80

S.P is 125% of C.P,

∴ C.P =80/125 × 100 = Rs 64

Profit = 80 - 64 = Rs 16

So, Profit is Rs 16 for M.P Rs 100

For profit to be Rs 1800,

M.P = 100/16 × 1800 = 25 × 450

⇒ Rs 11250

∴ The M.P is Rs 11250

Quantity B = Rs. 10,000

∴ Quantity A > Quantity B
