Correct Answer - Option 2 : 8

Given:

Expression 1 × 3 × 5 × 7 × … × 99 × 256

Concept Used:

Number of zeros = Number of pairs of 2 × 5

Calculation:

Numbers with 5 at the unit’s place are 5, 15, 25… 95 which are 10.

Also, 25 and 75 are divisible by 52.

In the given expression, 5 occurs 12 times.

256 = 28

In the given expression 1 × 3 × 5 × 7 × … × 99 × 28, the maximum power of 5 is 12 and the maximum power of 2 is 8. So, there are 8 pairs of 2 × 5.

The number of zeros is 8.
