Concept:

nth  term of A.P are a, a + d , a + 2d, .... ,a + (n-1)d .

Tn = a + ( n - 1 ) d 

Where a = first term and d = common difference. 

Calculation:

Given: general term is 2n + 5 

So, T_n = 2n + 5

Put n = 15

So 15^th term = 2 × 15 + 5 = 35
