Formula used:

Speed = distance/time

Calculation:

Let the equal distances be x km

x/20 + x/60 + x/4 = 38/60

⇒ 3x/60 + x/60 + 15x/60 = 38/60

⇒ 19x = 38

⇒ x = 2km

∴ Total Distance = 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 km

∴ The distance is 6 km
