Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : 456.1 cm

Given:

Total length of rod = 11.35 m

Length cut from original rod = 6789 mm

Concept:

First, convert the mm unit in meter unit and then solve.

Calculation:

∵ 1 mm = (1/1000) m

∴ 6789 mm = (6789/1000) m

= 6.789 m

∴ Length of the remaining rod = 11.35m – 6.789 m

= 4.561 m

∵ 1 m = 100 cm

∴ 4.561 m = 4.561m × 100

= 456.1 cm
