Given:

Let boys = B and girl = G

Therefore, Emma has = G + B children

Ana is a girl and has the same number of brothers as sisters.

Therefore, excluding Ana,

G - 1 = B ........(1)

Andrew is a boy and has twice as many sisters as brothers.

Therefore, excluding Andrew,

2(B -1) = G

2B - 2 = G  .........(2)

By equation (1) and (2)

B = 3 and G = 4

Hence, the number of children Emma have is 7.
