Correct Answer - Option 3 : 30 unit

CONCEPT:

  • Electric power: The rate of work done by the electric current is called electric power.

Electric energy (E) = electric power (P) × time (t)

1 unit of energy = 1 kilowatt hour = 1 KWh

CALCULATION:

Given that:

power (P) =  1000 watt

time = 30 days

1 hr per day working

So total time = t = 30 × 1 hr = 30 hr

Energy (E) = P × t = 1000 × 30 = 30000 watt hour = 30 kilowatt hour = 30 unit.
